The Musical Director will occasionally distribute lists of pieces for the next concert or rehearsal. Below is the link to most recent list.
Once on the page above, use the "print" feature on your browser to print a copy. For more control on how it looks, try "Print Preview". To get a simple page without the stuff on the left, some browsers will allow you to open the link in a new tab. On the link above, try right-click or Ctrl-click (PC) or option-click (Mac).

To be part of the discussions going on about the Burlington Concert Band, we have a "Mailing List".
The above link can also be used to change modes or un-subscribe. Use "Digest Mode" if the stream of emails from this list becomes bothersome.
To post to the list use: band@burlingtonconcertband.org. You need to be subscribed for your post to go through.
Below are links to posters that can be printed out and posted. Just click on the link and a new page will open. These are PDF files so they appear different than a regular web page. You might see more than one printer icon so to print, click the printer icon that is other than the usual one at the top of the screen.
Feel free to contact Bob Belcher (see below) if you would like some already printed posters.
Prints made with ink jet printers will run if rained upon. Use laser printers or copiers for outdoors.
Some places for posting are: Music stores, Libraries, Laundromats, Hanafords, City Market, Elley-Long center, Bookstores, Outdoor boards around downtown Burlington.
It is polite to ask permission of an establishment before posting. Some will put it up for you.
Remember to bring your own pushpins, as well as tape and perhaps a staple gun. Different situations warrant different methods.
Each year the Burlington Concert Band receives a small amount of money from the City of Burlington. With this we pay the Liability Insurance that Parks & Rec requires; we pay our conductor (not nearly what he is worth!); purchase incidentals such as music folders, mailing supplies, etc.; pay for advertising and upkeep of equipment; and an amount, which varies every year, is divided up amongst the musicians that played with us faithfully over the summer.
The formula used to determine who is eligible is essentially as follows:
You must attend a minimum of two rehearsals and three concerts, and the total of all attended events (rehearsals and concerts) must be at least ten (generally we have between 20 - 22 "events" each season). Attendance counts for 60% of the total and Seniority (which maxes out at ten years) counts for 40%.
